Dr. Rivaldo Costa

Dr. Rivaldo Costa is a Trainee Lawyer at CAZOS Sociedade de Advogados, RL, registered with the Angolan Bar Association (OAA) under licence No. 16400, with his traineeship sponsored by Dr. Cipriano Bumba Cazo. His practice focuses on legal research, normative analysis and economic litigation, with emphasis on Economic Regulation, Financial Compliance, Administrative Law and Economic Criminal Law. Within the CAZOS Justice & Innovation Academy, he contributes to scientific production and to the technical support of the editorial policy of Revista CAZOS, where he authors the series on debt recovery and cross-border enforcement in the Markets & Capital section.

His research and writing focus notably on the Legal Regime of Gaming Activities (Law No. 17/24), the Prevention of Money Laundering (Law No. 5/20) and the framework of Economic and Financial Crimes (Law No. 33/22), favouring an approach oriented towards evidence, risk and organisational compliance.
